Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant - PRN

At Continuum Rehab Therapy, we are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and contributing to their overall well-being.

Job Summary:Our Physical Therapy Assistant will work closely with our licensed therapists to provide physical therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed therapists in providing physical therapy services to residents
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to meet the needs of residents
  • Implement physical therapy interventions, including exercises and modalities, to promote resident recovery and independence
  • Document resident progress and communicate with healthcare team members as needed

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted professional license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Graduate from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association with an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Excellent organizational, time management, oral, and written communication skills
