Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hematology Oncology team at Atrium Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze patient data to identify potential diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and quality care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care delivery and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where the RN works.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to walk, stand, sit, lift, reach, stoop, bend, push, and pull. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.

Education and Experience

A graduate from an accredited School of Nursing is required; BSN preferred. Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the department manager.
