As a R&D Molecular Scientist, you will be part of a team that delivers rapid testing and point-of-care medical device solutions used in the detection of infectious diseases, pregnancy, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and perform sophisticated experiments to drive project goals and set new experimental directions.
  • Contribute to project activities and scientific strategies with conceptual expertise.
  • Develop novel solutions to overcome project obstacles and identify broad implications to findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. PhD preferred.
  2. 5-7 years of experience in molecular biology techniques, with a focus on assay development in the IVD industry.
  3. Strong expertise in molecular diagnostic assay design, optimization, and validation.
  4. Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
