At Amgen, our mission to serve patients drives our research and innovation. We're seeking a highly skilled Biotech Research Scientist to join our Inflammation Research Team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to conduct in vitro and preclinical studies, exploring new research areas and innovating new technologies.

**Job Summary**

We're looking for a dedicated scientist with expertise in immunology and inflammation to contribute to our discovery research team. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, performing, and analyzing in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo experiments to validate biological and therapeutic hypotheses. You'll also collaborate with team members to design and conduct studies, and contribute to technology development by proposing and evaluating new experimental approaches.

**Responsibilities:**

• Enable the discovery, validation, and mechanistic understanding of signaling pathways to be translated into new treatments for autoimmune diseases.

• Conduct hands-on, lab-based research, designing and performing in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo experiments to validate biological and therapeutic hypotheses.

• Elucidate mechanisms of action of tool molecules.

• Collaborate with team members to design, conduct, and analyze in vitro and ex vivo studies.

• Contribute to technology development by proposing and evaluating new experimental approaches.

• Present data in department and team meetings.

**Requirements:**

We're looking for a scientist with a Doctorate degree, or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience in immunology and/or inflammation, or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience in immunology and/or inflammation. Preferred qualifications include experience with mouse models, cell culture and cell-based assays, molecular biology, and multi-panel flow cytometry.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
