Opportunity Overview
WOLF is seeking a full-time Senior Field Application Engineer, Technical Sales. In this role, you will report to the VP of Business Development and be instrumental in providing pre-sales technical support while driving sales growth for WOLF's advanced technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to prospective clients.
  • Assist the sales team with customer conference calls.
  • Manage client relationships throughout the sales cycle.
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Understand end-user applications and their technology requirements.
  • Create detailed proposals and documentation.
  • Identify potential customers and develop new accounts.
  • Prepare cost estimates by analyzing Bill of Materials (BOM) and related documents.
  • Contribute to CRM and forecast management through data entry and lead management.
  • Represent WOLF at trade shows and conferences to promote products.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of proven experience in sales or technical support, preferably within the Embedded Solutions Market, alongside 5 years of engineering experience. A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field such as mechanical, electrical, software, or aerospace is required.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in reading datasheets and understanding technical requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with standards such as XMC, VPX, NVIDIA, OpenVPX, FPGA, AMD, PCIe, and GPU.
  • Knowledge of SOSA, CMOSS, VICTORY, and similar standards.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Established relationships within the defense and aerospace industries.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
