Key Responsibilities
  • Insurance Follow-up: Follow up with third-party payers to ensure timely and accurate payment of patient accounts.
  • Account Resolution: Resolve issues with patient accounts, including denied claims and rejected billings.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient accounts, including online system documentation.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with third-party representatives, patients, and supervisors to resolve issues and ensure timely payment.
  • Collection Goals: Meet or exceed collection goals for each payer, ensuring timely and accurate payment of patient accounts.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or General Education Degree.
  • Experience: Three to Five years' experience in medical office billing, preferably with knowledge of ICD-10/HCPCS/CPT coding.
  • Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new programs and systems.
Working Conditions

This is a non-remote position, requiring regular attendance and communication with team members.
