Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled RF Systems Modeling and Simulation Engineer to enhance our diverse team dedicated to supporting critical defense initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
As part of our team, you will engage in:

  • Analyzing and evaluating advanced RF systems, particularly Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (SAMs).
  • Conducting hardware and software assessments and prototyping innovative radar platforms, missile seekers, and datalinks.
  • Developing medium to high-fidelity models and simulations for comprehensive analysis.

Our team plays a vital role in national defense by integrating intelligence-backed threat system models into a cohesive wargame simulation environment.

Role Expectations:
In this position, you will:

  • Define requirements and design solutions for modeling and simulation software.
  • Participate in technical discussions for both immediate and long-term planning.
  • Develop software using C/C++ and Python on both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Collaborate within an Agile software development team and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or a Master’s/Ph.D.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and/or MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Experience in RF hardware, signal processing, and modeling in communications, radar, or electronic systems.

Clearance Requirements:
An active Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET / SCI Security Clearance.

Preferred Skills:
Additional skills that would be beneficial include:

  • Experience with threat system modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with modeling frameworks and environments.
  • Experience in a DevOps or DevSecOps setting.
  • Knowledge of environmental datasets and RF propagation.
