Position Title: Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Engineer

Location: Huntsville, AL


POSITION SUMMARY:

Willbrook Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Engineer to contribute to critical projects. In this position, you will provide support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) GMD Ground System Development (GMN) Project Office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the GMX System Engineering Lead and Deputy in coordinating efforts with the GMD Industry team.
  • Perform technical evaluations of GMD NGI plans, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and timelines.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to establish NGI need dates, monitor the status of NGI deliveries, and prepare detailed technical reports and presentations.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of the system engineering life cycle to research, analyze, and propose solutions to program challenges that align with GMD strategic objectives.
  • Create and deliver technical reports and presentations that effectively communicate complex concepts and recommendations in a clear and organized manner.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree in a STEM field (Computer Science or Engineering).
  • Over 12 years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering related to electrical, avionics, and power systems.
  • Possession of an active Secret clearance.
  • Thorough understanding of the System Engineering Life Cycle.
  • Experience in integrating system components for Interceptors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with MDA processes.
  • Experience with Model Based System Engineering.
  • Capability to develop documentation for Program Reviews and Engineering Review Boards (ERB).

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

Active Secret Clearance is required.
