Responsibilities- Operate and maintain various diagnostic imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and digital imaging software.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic procedures, including invasive and non-invasive tests.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide exceptional patient care.
- Graduate of a formal radiography program or equivalent training program.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and licensure by the State of Connecticut Department of Health.
- Flexibility to work overtime and holidays as needed, as well as on-call duty when applicable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
