Job Title: Senior Electroneurodiagnostic EEG Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electroneurodiagnostic EEG Technologist to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our neurodiagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing complex EEG and other neurodiagnostic procedures, maintaining patient safety, and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and complex neurodiagnostic procedures, including EEGs and long-term video monitoring, evoked potentials, and polysomnography.
  • Maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties.
  • Provide findings, results, and descriptive analysis according to facility policy and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Function independently and apply basic, intermediate, and advanced waveform recognition, relevant medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, infection control, and current HIPAA practices.
  • Assist in training and assessment of END technologists in neurodiagnostic procedures and techniques.
  • Document information in patient medical records and assist with patient billing processes.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One of the following licenses/certifications: CNIM, REEGT, or RPSGT.
  • Two years' experience in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, inclusive of clinical rotations.
  • Graduation from an Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program will substitute for two years of experience.
