As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will play a vital role in our team by performing electroencephalograph (EEG) and other neurodiagnostic examinations according to physician's orders under the supervision of the department manager.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for scheduling patients, obtaining patient medical history, and completing appropriate documentation as per physician's orders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Receives and records physician's orders for patient testing, schedules patients, and obtains patient medical history.
  2. Prepares patients for procedures, explains the procedure, measures for accurate electrode sites, applies electrodes, and adjusts as appropriate.
  3. Performs electroencephalograph (EEG) exams and may perform other neurodiagnostic exams as directed.
  4. Maintains equipment and makes minor adjustments as indicated.
  5. Ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications.

This role requires a minimum of two (2) years directly related experience or an Associate's degree in Neurodiagnostic Technologies; in lieu of two (2) years' experience.
