Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Sleep Center Technologist to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital West Campus. As a Senior Sleep Center Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting nighttime sleep studies, performing neurodiagnostic testing, and ensuring the highest quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct nighttime sleep studies and perform neurodiagnostic testing in accordance with departmental and AAST standards of care.
  • Ensure electrode application in adherence with the International 10-20 System.
  • Function independently and apply basic, intermediate, and advanced waveform recognition, relevant medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, infection control, current HIPPA practices.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintain Environment of Care.

Requirements

  • Required H.S. Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred Graduate of a CAAHEP sleep program.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Required BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
  • Required RPSGT - Reg Polysomnographic Technology by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
  • Preferred RST - Registered Sleep Technologist by the American Board of Sleep Medicine.
