Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Coordinator to join our team at Ideal School. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day cash management, managing accounts payable and receivable, and submitting delinquent accounts to collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day cash management
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Submit delinquent accounts to collection
  • Process student refunds as per refund policy
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies
  • Fax and scan documents
  • Liaise with local authorities and school Governors
  • Answer the phone and transfer calls

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Bursar Coordinator for a minimum of 2 years or 2 years experience as a bookkeeper
  • Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular), QuickBooks or other accounting system
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Familiarity with budget preparation and cash flow management
  • Solid time management skills with an ability to prioritize work
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
