Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Siemens Mobility, Inc. As a key member of our operations, you will oversee a team of quality assurance professionals responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our rail car manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Lead a team of quality assurance professionals in conducting inspections, audits, and testing to identify and address quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to quality assurance professionals to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, with a strong background in managing quality processes for complex equipment assembly.
  • Experience in OEM capital equipment manufacturing, specifically in a schedule-driven, high-mix/low-volume, engineer-to-order, project-based environment.
  • Proficient in Lean manufacturing principles and MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of quality assurance professionals.
