Key Responsibilities

As an Operations Supervisor, your role encompasses the following essential functions. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
  • Lead and foster positive employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and professional development.
  • Manage the production schedule to ensure optimal workload distribution, thereby enhancing overall productivity.
  • Provide guidance for problem-solving to promote swift improvements and strengthen workplace relationships.
  • Engage in strategic planning and execution aimed at boosting profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency across the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards regarding cost management, waste minimization, quality assurance, OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and timely delivery at the most economical cost.
  • Assess operational staffing requirements and ensure alignment with company policies.
  • Support budgeting, planning, and auditing as necessary, while generating reports to ensure that operational targets are met.
  • Identify, communicate, and spearhead the implementation of capital investments and enhancement projects in collaboration with the Facilities & Deburring Manager.
  • Oversee compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Manage the deployment of policies related to Lean Manufacturing techniques, quality assurance, cost efficiency, timely delivery, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual management, and performance metrics.
  • Implement process improvements and management strategies to achieve higher returns on investment and optimize workflow.
  • Regularly interact with the executive team and departmental leaders to ensure alignment of operational priorities with the overall direction of the company.
  • Continuously explore and propose process enhancement measures for consideration by the Business Unit President.
  • Participate in vendor negotiations to ensure product relevance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Educational Background
  • College Degree, High School Diploma, Trade School Certificate, or equivalent.
