Job Title: Forklift Lot Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Lot Attendant to join our team at Blue Compass RV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for arranging trailers on the lot using a forklift and assisting the service team.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift to transport trailers to and from service areas and the lot as needed or re-arrange throughout the lot.
  • Park and move RV units in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure window prices on recreational vehicles are installed and removed as instructed.
  • Write work orders, track problems, and ensure units are in proper working order.
  • Sweep, pick up trash and debris, empty garbage cans, and keep the lot clean and professional in appearance.
  • Keep units and equipment secure from weather.
  • Ensure slide-outs are in, jacks are down, steps are down, select awnings are opened, and the doors are unlocked.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
  • Fuel and propane check and refill.
  • Stage units.
  • Check in new units when they arrive from the factory.
  • Run errands for parts or supplies.
  • Perform any other tasks deemed necessary by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Some technician experience.
  • Towing experience preferred.
  • Previous yard tractor and/or forklift experience.
  • Ability to drive an RV.
  • Experience using generators and operating slide-outs.
  • Ability to repair small items and identify problem units.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
  • May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices.
  • Show potential for growth and ability to learn RV repair techniques.
