Bach to Rock, a leading music education company, is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Music Teacher to join our team. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for providing music lessons to students of all ages, using our proprietary curriculum and teaching methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach private and semi-private music lessons to students, using our curriculum and cover song arrangements.
  • Create a fun, engaging, and focused lesson atmosphere that encourages students to learn and grow.
  • Assess students' readiness to join a band or ensemble and provide guidance on how to achieve their musical goals.
  • Assist with school events, such as concerts and recitals.
  • May be required to repair equipment as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must have a strong understanding of music concepts and be able to communicate them effectively to students.
  • Must have an advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to the primary instrument.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task during lessons.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities.
  • Experienced performer (either solo or group).
  • Experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians.
  • Ability to interact effectively with children and adults.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
