About the Role

Bach to Rock, a leading music education company, is seeking a skilled Strings Music Educator to join our team. As a Strings Music Educator, you will be responsible for providing private and semi-private music instruction to students of all ages, as well as leading small rock/pop ensembles for live performances and recordings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for students of all skill levels
  • Lead small rock/pop ensembles in performing and recording original and cover songs
  • Support student placement in pop/rock ensembles in collaboration with the School Director staff
  • Assist with equipment setup and breakdown, as well as basic maintenance tasks
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to students and parents
Requirements
  • Must have a strong understanding of music concepts and be able to communicate effectively with students
  • Must be able to play a musical instrument, with multi-instrumentalists preferred
  • Must have experience with basic sound equipment and be able to run it effectively
  • Must be able to receive constructive feedback and apply it to new teaching situations
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
  • Must have a teaching certificate or degree in music, or equivalent experience
  • Must have proficiency in English speaking and writing skills, with additional languages a plus
