Bach to Rock, a leading music education company, is seeking a skilled Guitar/Bass Teacher to join our team of music professionals. As a Guitar/Bass Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach private and semi-private lessons using Bach to Rock's proprietary curriculum and song arrangements.
  • Create a supportive, engaging, and focused lesson environment that fosters student growth and development.
  • Assess students' readiness to join a band or ensemble and provide guidance on how to achieve their musical goals.
  • Participate in school events and activities, such as concerts, recitals, and workshops.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven understanding of music concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively to students.
  • Advanced knowledge of music theory and technique relevant to the guitar or bass.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure students stay on track during lessons.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities.
  • Experience as a performer, either solo or in a group.
  • Experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians.
  • Ability to interact effectively with children and adults.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
