About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team at HMT Tank Inc. in the Port Arthur, TX area. As a Radiographer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our tank operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment to inspect tanks and ensure quality or detect discontinuities.
  • Calibrate nondestructive testing equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Conduct tests to evaluate the integrity of tanks and detect any defects or discontinuities.
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
  • Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators to determine the quality of tanks.
  • Organize and report test results to ensure transparency and accountability.

  • Pass hair follicle drug screen
  • Pass DISA background check
  • Transportation Worker Identification Card
  • Comfortability with heights
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety
