Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Bon Secours Community Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating x-ray and CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping our radiologists diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Adjust x-ray equipment to ensure accurate settings for each examination
  • Position and instruct patients to obtain precise radiographs and scans
  • Select appropriate CT protocols for each examination
  • Screen patients for intravenous and oral contrast media administration
  • Operate CT intravenous contrast injectors with physician supervision
  • Arrange and adjust immobilizing devices to ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Position x-ray equipment for clear and undistorted views
  • Repeat exposures from different angles as prescribed by physicians
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Document radiological studies in electronic medical records
Requirements
  • Prior diagnostic radiology experience with CT equipment required
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA School of Radiology
  • Licensed by the State of New York
  • BLS certification, AART registered or eligible
