About the Role

Catholic Health Service is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and imaging results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
  • Current ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required; BLS certification a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods of time.
