As a vital member of our team, you will contribute significantly to a patient's healing journey by ensuring accurate and timely results that enhance clinical outcomes.

This role is positioned within our cutting-edge diagnostic breast imaging center.

We are seeking a proactive breast imaging specialist to conduct radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures that assist healthcare providers in diagnosing diseases and injuries.

You will perform technical functions to guarantee optimal diagnostic quality of patient care through efficient and safe practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and diagnostic mammography procedures.
Assist in stereotactic biopsy procedures.
Manage inventory and procure necessary supplies.

Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and composure while explaining procedures to patients to alleviate concerns and ensure cooperation.

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
Adjust equipment settings to optimize exposure factors and produce images with the appropriate detail, density, and accuracy.
Process images and conduct reviews for proper identification and quality assurance.
Implement radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
Train and orient new team members.
Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of continuous experience in mammography.
Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Availability for daytime weekday shifts. Four ten-hour shifts available. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Competitive salary up to $65 per hour.
