Surgical Technologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist 2 to join our dedicated team at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to aseptic and surgical techniques.
- Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team, expediting procedures and ensuring seamless communication.
- Collaborate with the circulating nurse to coordinate patient care and ensure a smooth surgical experience.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance surgical skills and knowledge.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program preferred.
- 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist; Surgical Technologist registration required.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) certification preferred.
