Role Responsibilities

As a Cocktail Server at Noir, you will have the chance to express your unique personality, unleash your creativity, and deepen your understanding of cocktail culture. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine interest in cocktails, wine, food, and brewing, along with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse situations. Being a team player is essential, as our service thrives on collaboration and maintaining a positive environment during busy periods.

Key Qualifications

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a bar or similar setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with order and payment systems is expected.
  • This role requires full mobility, quick-paced movement, and the ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, as well as push food carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is a must.

Core Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the standards and regulations of The Charles Hotel to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Meet certification requirements relevant to the position, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers Safety.
  • Understand the layout of the restaurant and lounge, as well as the functions of each role.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the products and services provided by Noir and The Charles Hotel.
  • Serve guests with all food and beverage needs in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables as necessary.
  • Be adept in the operation of the P.O.S. system.
  • Attend to both bar and table guests efficiently.
  • Handle cashiering duties, including closing checks and completing end-of-shift paperwork.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures and side work according to assigned rotations.
  • Ensure tables and side stations are well-stocked, tidy, and clean.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by management.
