Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials
  • Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers, ensuring all scanning is completed correctly
  • Help train dock employees on new procedures
  • Ensure facility security at end of shift; investigate and resolve scanning issues and housekeeping
  • Perform picking and packing duties
  • Check for evidence of product or container damage
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as scanners and WMS systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to work both indoors and outside
  • Powered industrial truck certification
  • Ability to read, do basic mathematics in English for safety, work instructions, policies, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six months of related warehouse experience
  • One year or more related warehouse experience
  • Ability to operate manual and/or automated warehouse/manufacturing equipment
