Job Summary:
TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of medical imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, and MRI machines
- Position patients for optimal image capture and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports of imaging procedures and results
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
- 1+ years of experience in radiology imaging
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
