Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at IDR, Inc. as a Mammography Technologist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in conducting various mammography procedures, including needle localization and ductograms, and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all types of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms.
- Conduct stereotactic biopsy procedures and quality control specific to mammography.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment with a focus on high-quality imaging.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography (R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT)).
- Competency in performing stereotactic procedures and/or quality control related to mammography.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers from the American Heart Association (CPR and AED).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in mammography.
- 1 year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control specific to mammography.
- Experience in a clinical research setting.
