Job Summary
Phaxis is seeking a highly skilled Safety and Compliance Specialist to join their team. This role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of risk, safety, and compliance in the heavy industrial construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting job site safety inspections, training employees, leading incident investigations, and maintaining compliance with OSHA standards, EEO regulations, and other relevant laws.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular job site safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA 1910 and 1926 standards.
- Identify potential hazards, develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment and enhance overall safety performance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience in Construction Safety.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management or safety roles, preferably within the heavy industrial construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing safety programs and compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
