Safety and Risk Management Role

Lighthouse Electric is seeking a seasoned Risk Management Professional to oversee safety initiatives in the Ohio market. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Create, maintain, and implement worksite safety practice training programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct Site Assessments and Hazard Identification: Conduct comprehensive onsite safety assessments, identifying, analyzing, and mitigating construction site hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Lead Safety Meetings and Training Sessions: Educate field personnel on site-specific topics via weekly Toolbox Talks and provide training on proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Investigate Incidents and Accidents: Participate in investigations of all accidents and effectively complete required documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of Construction Safety Experience: Proven experience in safety management, including knowledge of OSHA regulations and certifications such as CHST, CSP, or ASP.
  • Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to motivate teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with project management software.

  • Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience
