Financial Systems Administrator

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Administrator to join our Controllership team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for our financial systems, ensuring accurate data management and reporting, and collaborating with finance and IT teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, secure, and maintain enterprise-level financial systems, primarily OneStream, to ensure accurate data management and reporting.
  • Develop and design reporting through OneStream Excel add-in, cube views, and dashboards to provide business insights and drive decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve financial system issues under tight timeframes, partnering with vendors and IT to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide critical support for business needs surrounding the monthly close process, planning, and forecasting, quarterly/annual financial statements, and audits.
  • Develop and drive enhancements and improvements for productivity, efficiency, and quality of financial data, identifying opportunities for process automation and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and process documentation, ensuring compliance requirements are met for system changes and updates.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Systems team, IT, and finance teams across the organization to implement financial systems projects and drive business growth.
  • Assist with systems-related assessments, cost-benefit analyses, and defining business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external parties, including finance, IT, consultants, and OneStream support teams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience demonstrating knowledge of finance and information systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Information Systems, with strong accounting/finance skills or information technology skills.
  • Advanced financial system administration experience, with a focus on OneStream.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (VB.NET) and SQL, as well as infrastructure and operating systems.
  • Experience with system upgrades and implementations, including financial consolidation, financial close processes, journal entries, financial planning & analysis, foreign currency translation, eliminations, and financial statements.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and analytical skills, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines, with a strong focus on teamwork and self-driven individuality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with regular, predictable, full attendance and willingness to travel as necessary.
