Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, developing individualized care plans, administering nursing care, and supervising nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.
This role requires a strong understanding of nursing standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer nursing care and supervise nursing assistants and other personnel
- Follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered LPN license in the state of employment
- CPR certification
- Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions
- Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff
