Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

The Olympia School District is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to students with special needs.

Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for administering specialized treatment, medication, and first aid as needed. You will also maintain accurate records related to the medical care or Health Care Plan for students with special needs. Additionally, you will communicate with certificated staff and school nurses regarding the care and medical needs of students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer specialized treatment, medication, and first aid as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records related to the medical care or Health Care Plan for students with special needs.
  • Communicate with certificated staff and school nurses regarding the care and medical needs of students with special needs.
  • Assist certificated staff and/or therapists in providing selected activities to students.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in providing for the health care and needs of students with special needs.
Requirements:
  • LPN license
  • Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance
  • Standard First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificates may be required
