Job Title: Spray Technician

Old Memorial Club, Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Spray Technician to join our Agronomy team.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for making all chemical and fertilizer applications under the guidance of Assistant superintendents and Director of Agronomy. This will include detailed record keeping, inventory management, maintenance / calibration of spray and fertilizer application equipment. When there are no larger spray applications planned for the day, the ideal candidate will spend their day spot spraying selective or non-selective herbicides.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Making all chemical and fertilizer applications under the guidance of Assistant superintendents and Director of Agronomy.
  • Detailed record keeping
  • Inventory management
  • Maintenance / calibration of spray and fertilizer application equipment
  • Spray selective and non-selective herbicides
  • Perform fertilizer applications on all playing surfaces
  • May help with other tasks on the golf course as directed by supervisor
Requirements:
  • Experience working on a golf course is preferred, but not required.
  • A valid State issued Driver's License.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
  • Meet all Federal and State Employment Eligibility guidelines
  • Must be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry items that are at most 50 pounds
  • A pesticide license is not required but preferred

The Spray Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
