Job Summary

The Old Memorial Club, Inc is seeking a skilled Spray Technician to join our agronomy team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for making all chemical and fertilizer applications under the guidance of Assistant superintendents and Director of Agronomy.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a golf course, a valid State issued Driver's License, and Spanish speaking skills are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making all chemical and fertilizer applications under the guidance of Assistant superintendents and Director of Agronomy.
  • Detailed record keeping
  • Inventory management
  • Maintenance / calibration of spray and fertilizer application equipment.
  • Spray selective and non-selective herbicides
  • Perform fertilizer applications on all playing surfaces
  • May help with other tasks on the golf course as directed by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Experience working on a golf course is preferred, but not required.
  • A valid State issued Driver's License.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
  • Meet all Federal and State Employment Eligibility guidelines
  • Must be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry items that are at most 50 pounds
  • A pesticide license is not required but preferred
