Key Responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer:
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the long-term care and senior housing landscape
  • Possess prior supervisory experience
  • Be in pursuit of or have obtained state nursing home administrator's licensure
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making and execution skills
  • Exhibit excellent management, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Show proficiency at conceptual, strategic, and implementation levels
  • Build and sustain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Align with and support Covenant Living's mission
  • Demonstrate a background in church and community leadership roles
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
  • A minimum of five years in administrative or upper management roles
  • At least three years of experience as an executive director in a Continuing Care Retirement Community
