Responsibilities
  • Answer telephone inquiries and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with tracking and processing referrals.
  • Participate in audits and chart reviews as assigned.
  • Upload documents to our electronic medical records system.
  • Provide feedback on process improvements.
  • Assist with scheduling goals of care and admission visits.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to receive incoming referral information.
  • Be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years' experience in hospice or healthcare, or a one- or two-year college degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology.
