About the Role

Zepf Center is a leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio, serving the community for nearly 50 years. We are seeking a full-time Mental Health Technician to join our team in a 24-hour unit, providing crisis stabilization services to individuals 18 years of age or older.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals to gather collateral data and provide outreach services, including crisis intervention.
  • Accompany clinicians on pre-hospital screenings and work with patients' primary psychiatrists, case managers, and counselors.
  • Facilitate client care, make phone calls, and coordinate services.
  • Provide one-on-one assistance, monitor behavior, and document services in client charts.
  • Answer the hotline, gather collateral information, and provide referrals to community services.
  • Run the intake board, coordinate outreach runs, and transport clients as needed.
  • Work flexibly with team members, attend meetings, and complete reports and documentation.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to be a qualified mental health specialist by Ohio Medicaid.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least three years' work experience in mental health.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and eligibility to drive company vehicles.
