Job Summary

CareMax is seeking a skilled Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting CareMax members/patients to and from medical appointments, events, and other destinations in a safe, timely, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent transportation services to members/patients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate daily appointment schedules with Dispatchers, center personnel, and members/patients, communicating pickup times in advance.
  • Assist members/patients in and out of vehicles safely and courteously.
  • Maintain updated driver logs on a daily basis.
  • Communicate effectively with Dispatchers and Base Manager, reporting any issues, delays, accidents, or changes in route.
  • Ensure the assigned vehicle is in good condition, conducting daily inspections and maintaining accurate records.
  • Comply with all Federal and State Traffic Laws, as well as Department policies and procedures.
  • Support and enforce company philosophies, objectives, decisions, strategies, work instructions, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School or GED required.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License for a minimum period of 12 months and a good driving record.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and age groups.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment, maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Geographic knowledge of transport areas.
  • Ability to operate a computer and necessary software to handle transportation programs.
  • Bi-lingual preferred, with the ability to communicate clearly in both English and Spanish.
