Transportation Analyst

As a Transportation Analyst at Wesco International, Inc., you will play a critical role in providing analytical support for various transportation programs. Your responsibilities will include developing, negotiating, and administering national programs for specific modes, such as small package, LTL, private fleet, dedicated, international, courier, truckload, rail, and expedited.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mode-specific service and expense metrics to optimize transportation operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
• Analyze and improve transportation-related data to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement LEAN initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage customs clearance processes, including preparing entries and submissions to relevant agencies.
• Support the implementation of new customs initiatives and projects.

Requirements:

• High School Degree or Equivalent required.
• Associates' Degree or College Diploma preferred.
• Licenses/Certificates/Designations such as Canada Certified Logistics Professional (CITT/CCLP), Canada Professional Freight Forwarder (CIFFA/PPF), or Canada Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) preferred.
• 2 years of experience in transportation, customs, logistics, or supply chain.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of Tariff Classification.
