Job Summary

CareMax is seeking a skilled and compassionate Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our transportation services, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients to and from medical appointments, events, and other destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive and respectful experience.
  • Coordinate daily transportation schedules with dispatchers, center personnel, and patients, communicating pickup times and any changes in a timely manner.
  • Assist patients in and out of vehicles, maintaining a safe and courteous environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs, reporting any issues, delays, or incidents to dispatchers and base managers.
  • Ensure the assigned vehicle is in good condition, conducting daily inspections and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Comply with all federal and state traffic laws, as well as CareMax policies and procedures.
  • Support and enforce company philosophies, objectives, and decisions, performing other duties as assigned by base managers.
Requirements
  • High School or GED required.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License for a minimum period of 12 months and a good driving record.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and age groups.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to patients and employees.
  • Geographic knowledge of transport areas and ability to operate a computer and necessary software.
  • Bi-lingual preferred, with the ability to communicate clearly in both English and Spanish.
