Job Overview

Position Summary

Under general supervision, this role involves a diverse range of tasks related to the upkeep and repair of facilities, buildings, and machinery. The individual will be accountable for routine maintenance responsibilities and ensuring the seamless operation of equipment within the organization.

Position Details:

  • Full-time
  • 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • Monday - Friday (with potential for overtime)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct various maintenance and repair tasks for buildings, grounds, and machinery.
  • Execute skilled mechanical and electrical work to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, repair, modify, and install equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Identify issues with machinery and equipment, operating them to assess the extent of failures.
  • Disassemble faulty machines and equipment, replacing defective components as necessary.
  • Perform maintenance on boilers, heaters, pumps, and valves.
  • Manage electrical systems and wiring repairs.
  • Complete assigned work orders and engage in preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
  • Ensure safe and correct operation of all machinery at all times.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols consistently.
  • Assist external vendors and contractors by providing necessary information or support.
  • Engage in special projects and additional duties as required.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is essential for this position.


Minimum Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair is preferred. Familiarity with high voltage systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and a general understanding of automated production environments is beneficial. Candidates should be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and detail-oriented. Physical demands may include standing, bending, lifting, and climbing, with the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally up to 100 lbs for moving items.
