**About Us**

We are a multi-office law firm representing Mortgage Lenders, Banks, and Financial Institutions in various states through the Foreclosure and Bankruptcy legal process.

**Salary and Benefits**

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 to $80,000 based on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, vision, dental, 401 K, life insurance, short-term and long-term disabilities, and a generous paid time off package.

**Job Responsibilities**

Our Litigation Legal Assistants perform specific job responsibilities and tasks under direct supervision of a Team Lead and Managing Attorney. Key duties include:

  • Legal file reviews and document validations;
  • File management to ensure court deadlines are met;
  • Drafting of legal documents;
  • Client interaction and communication;
  • Legal research on complaints, cases, statutes, and regulations;
  • Calculating fees;
  • Assisting with projects/assignments from Attorneys.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma;
  • Previous experience in a law firm, title, bankruptcy, foreclosure, or mortgage banking is a plus;
  • Microsoft Office skills including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint;
  • Administrative experience, preferably in a similar environment;
  • Data entry, proofreading, and editing skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet client deadlines;
  • Strong word processing and proofreading skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and organization;
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative as appropriate;
  • Ability to adapt to change.

**Work Environment**

This is a full-time position with immediately available hours. You can choose your schedule from options: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
