Key Responsibilities:
Meritage Homes Corporation is seeking a Client Relations Specialist who will:

Oversee the warranty-service operations of laborers and subcontractors across multiple residential sites within a designated community.

Ensure that all warranty repairs comply with building regulations and Meritage Homes' quality standards. Address quality control challenges as they emerge.

Engage in the 10-step AVID-Customer Satisfaction process within assigned communities.

Assist with the inspection process as time allows. Conduct walkthrough inspections and other scheduled evaluations with homeowners.

Manage customer expectations throughout the construction journey via homeowner orientation.

Interact daily with various departments, subcontractors, homebuyers, homeowners, and municipal inspectors.

Organize and methodically handle assigned warranty claims.

Oversee documentation flow, including updating reports and tracking customer approvals.

Ensure warranty reports are managed effectively to provide prompt and professional service to homeowners.

Communicate with customers to interpret warranty claims in relation to the Meritage warranty manual.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Coursework or a degree in Construction Management is preferred.

At least one (1) year of experience in construction, with some supervisory or project management experience preferred.

Advanced training in one or more trades within the residential construction sector is highly desirable.

Familiarity with homebuilding and construction systems/processes, building codes, and the Register of Contractor Standards (ROC) is essential.


Ability to read blueprints to maintain quality control and inspect all construction aspects, including framing, stucco applications, electrical, plumbing, etc.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of Hyphen is a plus.


Must possess a valid state driver's license and personal vehicle liability insurance coverage that meets the standards set by Meritage Homes.
