Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist PRN to join our team at Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics SouthEast. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality radiographs and assisting physicians with patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and other staff members with radiographic procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiographic techniques, including PACS and radiation protection.
  • Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Provide direct training and supervision to student technologists, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order, reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited two-year radiology program or equivalent military program.
  • Registered in radiography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Knowledge of radiographic technique, PACS, and musculoskeletal anatomy.
  • Ability to work independently and have working knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous orthopaedic experience.

Please note that this position may require travel to and from satellite clinics as assigned. A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record are required upon hire.
