Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist PRN to join our team at Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics SouthEast. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality radiographs and assisting physicians with patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and other staff members with radiographic procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging.
  • Operate radiographic equipment, including X-ray machines and PACS systems, to produce high-quality images.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiology requisitions, views, and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient imaging.
  • Provide direct training and supervision to student technologists, promoting knowledge and skills development.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order, reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited two-year radiology program or equivalent military program.
  • Registered in radiography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Knowledge of radiographic technique, PACS, and musculoskeletal anatomy.
  • Ability to work independently and have working knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous orthopaedic experience.
