About the JobWe are seeking an exceptional Program Manager to lead our College & Career Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a vision for an enhanced high school graduate program, including supporting staff working with Girls Group high school graduates, establishing and maintaining a thriving Alumni network, managing program calendars, staff assignments, participant engagement and retention initiatives, ensuring quality of services, and working collaboratively with higher education institutions and community partners.
Key Responsibilities- Manage College & Career programming services, including individual monthly mentoring, biweekly College & Career groups, and monthly social meet ups.
- Plan and facilitate biannual Alumni reunions and manage participant re-engagement initiatives.
- Develop training and intervention plans based on site/staff needs and provide mentoring support to participants.
- Manage College & Career social media accounts and create monthly Alumni Newsletter.
- Collaborate with direct reports to ensure attendance goals are met for individual, group programming, and social events.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Child Development & Family Studies, Education, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with first-generation students and their families in the college admission and/or college counseling process.
- Experience leading teams or supervising staff and project or program management experience.
- Knowledge of child development, social justice, and youth programming, as well as ability to provide support for students who may be experiencing crisis.
