Job Summary

Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor seeks a highly qualified individual to serve as the Program Director of Physical Therapy. This is a full-time, faculty position responsible for leading the Physical Therapy Department and overseeing the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Physical Therapy Department and DPT program.
  • Lead and manage a team of faculty and staff to achieve program goals and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and maintain relationships with external organizations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety of faculty, staff, and learners.
  • Provide guidance and support to learners and faculty on policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Dean of the School of Health Professions to develop a teaching load consistent with university expectations.
Requirements
  • Current licensure to practice physical therapy in Michigan or eligibility.
  • Earned academic/research doctorate.
  • Current rank of associate professor or professor.
  • Minimum of 6 years of full-time higher education experience, with a minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in a PT education program.
  • Membership in a Christian congregation; members of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod are especially encouraged to apply.
