Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cook to join our culinary team at Morrison Living. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet the dietary needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established recipes and food safety guidelines.
  • Oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by the Food Service Director.
  • Operate and clean equipment after each use, and perform scheduled routine cleaning.
  • Store, label, and date food items according to policy, and maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
  • Assist the Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
  • Assist in the cross-training of employees.
