Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to join our team at ARCAN Capital. As a key member of our onsite management team, you will play a vital role in guiding the operations of our apartment community and ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents, addressing their concerns and needs in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Support leasing consultants in the leasing process, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing guidelines and verifying potential resident applications.
  • Assist in managing the property's budget, making sound fiscal decisions to increase net operating income.
  • Lead rent collection efforts, including lease termination and legal action if necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years' experience in residential property management, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting practices and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, property management systems, and credit screening.
  • Regular attendance, punctuality, and dependability required.
  • A positive, motivating, team-oriented attitude and superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, remain detailed, and well-organized, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Professional leadership skills and adherence to ethical standards, including confidentiality and fiduciary responsibility.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers, meeting and exceeding sales and customer service objectives.
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
